HONG KONG – August 28, 2025 – BTC Inc., organizer of the world’s largest Bitcoin conferences and parent company of Bitcoin Magazine, today announced that Bitcoin Hong Kong 2026 will take place on August 27–28, 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). The return of this flagship event highlights Hong Kong’s rising influence in the global Bitcoin economy and marks the beginning of a new era of institutional adoption and innovation across Asia.
A GLOBAL BENCHMARK FOR BITCOIN EVENTS
BTC Inc.’s conferences have become the benchmark for the global Bitcoin community. In May 2025, Bitcoin 2025 drew tens of thousands of attendees in Las Vegas. The next flagship event, Bitcoin 2026, will return to The Venetian in Las Vegas in April 2026, followed by international editions including Bitcoin Asia in Hong Kong, Bitcoin Amsterdam in November 2025, and Bitcoin MENA in Abu Dhabi in December 2025.

A stablecoin law came into effect on August 1, 2025, requiring issuers of fiat-referenced stablecoins to be licensed by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA). The first licenses are expected in early 2026, paving the way for regulated stablecoin adoption. At the same time, banking capital rules for licensed digital asset platforms are being eased, opening the door to greater institutional participation.
