Matrixport: Vitalik advocates the simplification of Ethereum, and Pectra upgrade takes a key step

CoinRank News: Matrixport released todays chart saying that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently said that Ethereum will move in a more concise and robust direction. - Drawing on Bitcoins minimalist philosophy in the design of the core protocol. He advocates simplifying the key code of the consensus layer and improving the scalability of the second-layer network through more mature zero-knowledge proof (ZK) and optimistic rollup technologies. The Pectra upgrade, which will be launched on May 7, integrates the two upgrade plans of Prague and Electra, including 11 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), focusing on improving the scalability, security and user experience of the network. Key upgrades include: introducing an account abstraction mechanism (EIP-7702), increasing the validator cap (EIP-7251), and doubling the data block (Blob) throughput (EIP-7691) to reduce the transaction cost of Layer2. Despite some problems in the early stages of the testnet, Pectra is still seen as a key step in the development of Ethereum.
