On August 8th, Animoca Brands and its affiliates (collectively, "Animoca Brands") announced today the completion of a strategic investment in the NFT brand Cool Cats Group.
Following the investment, Animoca Brands and Coin Operated Group will own a majority stake in Cool Cats Group. Animoca Brands and Coin Operated Group aim to foster innovation and growth, enhance community engagement, and explore new market opportunities for Cool Cats in the rapidly evolving NFT space.
Following the investment, Animoca Brands will appoint two new board members to advance Cool Cats: Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, and Kenneth Shek, project lead for Mocaverse and Moca Network.
