In August 2025, monthly trading volume on Ethereum’s decentralized exchanges (DEXs) surpassed $140.1 billion, setting a new all-time high. The number of active addresses also reached 16.77 million, another record. Ethereum’s current total value locked (TVL) stands at $92.58 billion, still about 17% below its late-2021 bull market peak of $108.8 billion.
