The Hong Kong SAR government has reportedly commissioned banks to prepare for its third potential digital bond issuance. This follows two previous, groundbreaking issuances: a HK$800 million tokenized green bond in 2023 and the world's first multi-currency digital green bond of approximately HK$6 billion in 2024.
