U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick stated that President Trump may forgive Elon Musk for the negative impact he caused after departing the administration, but he "will not forget" the negativity.

Musk was once one of Trump's closest allies. Lutnick noted: "The president will remain friendly to Musk... but do I think he will forget it? I don't think so.".
