According to Crypto In America, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) formally concluded its two-year investigation into Ondo Finance in November and did not recommend any charges. The investigation focused on the compliance of tokenizing U.S. Treasury products and whether the ONDO token should be deemed a security.
Sources indicate that after the new SEC Chair Paul Atkins took office, the agency has closed most crypto-related investigations and withdrawn multiple cases.
