According to official announcements, the Hyperliquid Foundation (@HyperFND) confirmed that the $HYPE tokens held in the foundation’s assistance fund system address have been permanently burned, accounting for 11.068% of the circulating supply.
The governance vote was conducted using a stake-weighted consensus mechanism, with the results as follows:
• 85% voted in favor of the burn
• 7% voted against
• 8% abstained
