Economist Peter Schiff tweeted that although Strategy has not been added to the S&P 500, if it had been included, its 47.5% decline in 2025 would rank as the sixth worst-performing stock in the index.
Schiff noted that Michael Saylor has argued that the optimal corporate strategy is to buy Bitcoin—essentially what $MSTR has done—but Schiff believes this approach has destroyed shareholder value.
