CoinRank News: The Infinite Node Foundation (NODE) announced the acquisition of CryptoPunks intellectual property rights from Yuga Labs and an additional $25 million donation, becoming the largest non-profit organization in the United States in the field of digital art. CryptoPunks was launched by Larva Labs in 2017, with total sales exceeding $3 billion to date, and is regarded as the starting point of the modern digital art movement. NODE said it would liberate the series and move it toward a community-driven decentralized future, and will hold the first full exhibition of 10,000 works at the new Palo Alto Pavilion, which will run Ethereum nodes to ensure the permanence of the works on the chain. The original authors Matt Hall and John Watkinson will join the advisory team to jointly promote the development of the project.
